Quick Release Adventures (QRA) was conceptualized in 2001 and founded in early 2002 by a frustrated group of sports' people with specialised business and marketing skills, who saw the need for sports to develop and sponsors to get their required mileage and leverage through non-conventional marketing methods.

Five years on, we understand more than ever, the need to produce a professional marketing tool; and that the execution needs to be not only technically faultless, but also all in all a memorable experience for both marketeer and participant.

> Melody Tan, brings much to the QRA table, having had prior experience in management, marketing and consultancy. Melody has been with QRA since its inception and brings the competitors relations and marketing together within QRA.

This wonder woman is a keen scuba diver and a rock climber, but is also pretty mean on both the mountain bike and road bike. Also a keen athlete herself, Melody has raced in triathlons, bike races and adventure races when not in race organizing mode.

> Adele Cheah, who's had work experience in marketing consultancy and advertising, looks into the design and 'packaging' of QRA events. She has also been with QRA since inception and is usually the 'voice of the event' emceeing and selecting music to entertain all during the event.

Adele shares similar interests to that of Mel - scuba diving, climbing, mountain biking and road biking. Having also raced in triathlons, duathlons and bike races, this lass may not boast medals and placings, but she sure has a heart for the outdoors.

> Lim Led Ye, the 'IronMan' of QRA, has had experience in adventure and the outdoors, having worked in climbing and outdoor company, Nomad Adventures before moving to work with Quick Release Adventures. The 'Boss' as he is affectionately known as, Lim manages event specifics and the QRA office.

Lim is not without a belt of achievements himself, having represented Malaysia in sport shooting in his younger days and recently completing IronMan Langkawi (Malaysia) and the KL International Marathon.
